Dragon Quest X Offline is an offline adaptation of the original Dragon Quest X. It has been set up for turn-based combat, like Dragon Quest I – IX and XI. It uses a chibi art style reminiscent of Dragon Quest IX and Builders. This edition also has voice acting, which was not present in the original game until the Version 5 storyline.

This initial release just contains the Version 1 story, but I ordered the deluxe package, which will add the Version 2 story when it is released. Hopefully, Square-Enix will see fit to localize this edition of the game for Western audiences.
