  1. This game doesn’t have to be mind blowing. As someone who got into this series because of FF7 Remake I was worried it would be half a decade before I got more content. But this game is the perfect thing to hold me over until part 2.

  2. I never played the game on PSP because never had one, is good that they are ´remastering´ it to the actual consoles, even the combat system is the same as in FF7 Remake and that´s great. Want to try it someday.

  3. ?????? OG crisis core feels nothing like Kingdom hearts. I can see the influence in selecting commands maybe? You have something similar in BBS and DDD. But that’s pretty much it.

  4. I must be part of the marginal cause crisis core was one of my most favorite games for probably a decade and when I tell you I hope it is legit just a pretty looking version of the old game I am so freaking excited.

  5. my bigger problem in the original Crisis Core, the reptitive mission, there's waaaaay too many of them, you just run to the end of the same dungeons

  6. I will skip this game. I don't like all Genesis story.
Without crisis core, original game and remaster looks better.

Also if we compare Zack from original and crisis core they looks like two diferrent characters.

I guess on psp it was very cool due to possibility to play something Final fantasy vii. Same as silent hill origins. But games themselves could be skipped

  7. Never finished the original release, still got a psp with the game all boxed. But looking forward to this however. Good stuff.

  8. Maximilian, the questionable dialog isn't simply explained by referring to the era the game was made in. There are plenty of games with good dialog from the PS2 era and even earlier. You only need to look at the likes of Vagrant Story, for example. I saw you make a similar statement with regards to level design in your FF7 Remake review. But there are plenty of PS2 era games with wide open, or sometimes really complex, level design. I think you're generalizing a bit too much, and I hope that younger kids don't get the wrong impression of older generations of games. Anyway, nice preview video regardless.

  9. If someone plays Crisis Core without knowing how the whole story ends (someone who has only finished FF VII REMAKE), does the story gets partially or fully spoiled for that person?

  10. For the people who think this game might have a different ending compared to the original – the cover art really gives it away. Hint: Location / Weather.

  11. Alright, sounds great! I love the original Crisis Core because that’s the game that got me into FF7, but man I’m not gonna lie, it will be a sweet, sweet pleasure skipping the cut scenes and not be interupted by the DMW all the time. Can’t wait to play this again!

  12. Max was rambling waaaay too much, especially towards the end, lol. Like, we get it, it's not FF7R level, but it is significantly better than the initial FF7: Crisis Core, and that's all that matters.

  13. i remember when CC came out and alot of people called it the best psp game, and i couldnt stand even 10 minutes due to how bad i thought the combat was. and later on, when BBS released, i gave it another try that went even worse, because bbs combat was that much better.

and bbs isnt even the best kh game when it comes to combat, but it felt far more fun to play.

  14. I bought a PSP for the first time about 5 years ago for the sole purpose of playing Crisis Core for the first time. I wasn't expecting Zach to be so annoying and I couldn't get passed the first mission because of the voice acting.

  15. What the hell is the roulette for and can you turn it off???

  16. About time Zack got some love. Crisis Core for psp was my favorite final fantasy game of all time.

  17. During side-mission/save icon, I used to walk on the edges to avoid "activating combat mode" to get to the main boss quicker. Hope it still works.

  18. It’s funny how this is fine, but if someone leaks the demo early he doesn’t wanna know lmao.
