Beat Saber with etee controllers // PRO Test // How is etee Tracking?

Not a PROTEST Pro-Test 😉

As we are approaching delivery of our kickstarted etee controllers for SteamVR, we are putting them through their paces. Top 50 Pro Beat Saber player “Rocker” hung out with our Community Manager Steve and put them through their paces! We are extremely happy with the results and our tracking has exceeded our expectations…. TOP level, leaderboard chasing Players will always break the controllers as they push the limits of current VR tech.

  1. These controller look very good for accuracy and midspeed maps but the tracking looks very unstable on speed maps. I'm sure Etee will be perfectly fine for the average users but I doubt they will be viable for the top Beat Saber players. I'm still very excited to try these out. Keep up the great work !

  2. Have you started shipping these to customers? I don't like pre-ordering things, but once i see that you get indipendant reviews from real customers, I'll gladly do a back-order and get into the second wave of product release.

  3. Couldn't have picked a better tester, Sam is THE data guy of the BS community! Thank you for being open towards the community and trusting "us" with pro testing. It's more than most companies would do <3

  4. Will you guys be sending review units to popular VR content creators? I feel those would instill a LOT of consumer confidence , especially since the projected release quarter is coming near, and not much has been seen aside from official sources.

  5. Kinda unfortunate to see them slipping at higher speeds, so I really hope that's something that can be fixed! I for one would love to see the oculus CV1 controllers dethroned!

  6. I will be purchasing these. These are perfect for mid-speed and older players since it seems the controllers are lighter. Also, Rocker, you look out of form. Get back into shape.

  7. The only thing that would incentivize me buying separate controllers would be if they were better for Beat Saber.

I feel whatever controllers come with the headset are perfectly fine for all casual players. Don't think I've heard people complain about controller weight distribution etc. outside of the BS community.

Shame, but kudos for putting out an honest review and not just cash grabbing and disappearing.

  8. Hey, so I’ve been looking around for some cheap watchmen dongle’s does anyone know of any because I really don’t wanna pay $50 for a freaking USB stick

  9. How many base stations was this tested with and would it matter if more were added?

  10. Would've been interesting to see what poodles might look like with them, but probably safe to assume they'd be good for the most part
