Dark Souls 3 continues to shine through as my favorite Souls game! It has a lore based story that is so deep with character and world building. In this episode we trek through a dangerous trap filled catacombs reminiscent of the Dark Souls 1 Catacombs. Our quest with Anri continues here too and we end up saying goodbye to someone we thought was our friend, Horace The Hushed. We fight a giant skeleton lord and discover two new areas worth searching through. I hope you enjoy this episode as always!

Gotta say really enjoying your play-through and glad you are continuing the Anri quest so far… during my first play-through I died when fighting him I think, went back and talked to her, and got to tell her where he is… and that ends the questline quite abruptly. If you have not already, check to see if there is an NPC near where the pilgrim guy who gives you free level ups was… though unfortunately you may have progressed too far if you did not draw out enough strength and that NPC might not be there. But that NPC is heavily involved with one of the major branches of Anri's questline. I think you can still continue on another major branch of Anri's questline though if that NPC is not there.

You can cheese the worm in the smoldering lake with the giant arrows being shot. There's a spot you can stand that keeps you safe from both the worm and the arrows. I think it's marked by text
NO SPOILER TIP: I haveb't finished this video to, but you should consider talking to the old little guy again that sits on his throne back at the shrine hub area
Hell yeah thanks for saving our onion bro!! I don't really like spoiling stuff, even npc stuff, but his questline leads to one of the more memorable moments in this game that I think everyone should experience but is totally miss able… like… who's checking a random well in the corner XD like why onion brooooo
so, in that end, he's going to get trapped one more time and will need a key to free him in an underground place. I could give you the name but that's a bit much imo so just giving you that hint in the future when you start exploring an underground fortress to explore and find him, it's actually a place that's completely optional, like one path leads to him and the other leads to the boss area.

In the lake you have a curious interaction between the fire demon and the mimic, if you wake him up and the boss hits him with the flames, the mimic gets angry and kicks him to death.
