  1. PETE ROSE DISERVE ANOTHER CHANCE HE WAS ONE THE BEST PLAYER ON MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL; NO BODY CAN ERASE DOES RECORDS;

  2. Love love love that the one and only Pete Rose was allowed to be part of this! Drop the ban! Put him in the hall!

  3. Its time for mlb to honor a man thats lived his life for baseball…. He is an old man with grand children now . What good are they doing by keeping the greatest player ever out baseball hall of fame

  4. long live my boys the only team that ran way and won nl west lets start a petition to put rose back in base ball long live pete rose the captain of the reds 75-76-77 amen and godbless to my boys my reds

  5. Matthew, the announcer repeating the names was a recording of the late great Paul Sommerkamp, who was the PA announcer at Crosley Field and Riverfront Stadium from 1951 to 1985. He would repeat the names so folks scoring the game in the stands could write them down. He passed away in 1994.

  6. I think the most telling thing about the Reds talent was how they demolished a great Philly team and an equally great Yankee team in the '76 NLCS and WS, respectively. Both their opponents were 100 victory teams and were easily swept. Going undefeated in the postseason won't happen again soon. Their place in history is secure.

  7. I don't think those people really understand the greatness of baseball standing before them.

  8. 76 Reds were the greatest starting 8 lineup of all time with 4 HOFers.   Bench, Morgan Perez and Rose ( should be in) .  They led in every offensive category.  You want defense?…that line up had all gold gloves up the middle with Bench, Morgan, Concepcion and Geronimo.  They swept the playoffs and the World Series against the Yankees.  A team like the Big Red Machine will never be seen again.

  9. Recuerdo ese equipo era mi favorito en mi niñez y adolescencia.gran equipo y gran manager

  10. Seeing this always gives me chills, and tears, this team was the fabric of my childhood, being born in Cincinnati, their likeness, will never be witnessed again…

  11. I was 12 and a Sox fan. Still to this day i can remember the excitement and ache of every pitch sitting just 2 feet from the TV screen. Baseball doesn't get any better.

  12. I LOVED THIS TEAM…. Childhood memories… I thought that team was invincible…. Griffey, Bench, Rose, Geronimo, Morgan, Conception, Foster, Perez….. Baseball royalty. It didn't get any better than that…

  13. The greatest Baseball Team of all time. 75-76 Reds Teams were awesome. I grew up watching those teams.

  14. I remembering booing all these guys as a kid watching them play the dodgers at Chavez ravine, they were always tough, and the games were fun to watch, kudos to these great players.

  15. the big red machine was from 1970 to 1981. However, 1970 to 1976 was their peak.
