  1. I feel like maybe just more time maybe like 20-25 seconds but aside from that not bad. Last year I could make dinner for my family between pitches

  2. The pitch clock reminds me of 90's NHL where a minority of fans complained they couldn't see the puck, so Fox added a glowing streak to follow it and everyone hated it

  3. MLB is slowly turning into nascar: change everything to the point where no one wants to watch it

  4. Done with sports!!! Been a sports junkie all my life, 50 plus years. Played baseball at a high level. Coached for 20 years. It’s all woke crap. Funny thing is generational life long fans that have spent huge amounts of money every year on gear and tickets TV packages etc…are gone. Based on a business plan to lure in attention deficit disorder ridden millennials that don’t know the game or it’s history and actually don’t care. These political activists will watch a few games maybe and move on to the next thing they want to conquer and destroy. That’s what they do. This is a political movement using sports to destroy American culture and your all falling for it over and over again. Sports is dying in America. #everybodygetsatrophy

  5. Pitch clock is the stupidest thing I've ever seen in baseball yet. It's very gimmicky. You can't have a clock in baseball. If they want a faster game it's so easy. Make the games 8 innings instead of 9. Easy . And that doesn't fundamentally change the game. And it allows pitcher's to throw less pitches and stay more healthy. Problem solved.

  6. They should get rid of clock. Could .are a rule where batter gets to step out of box once. Batters adjusting their gloves and shoes and helmet after every pitch is ridiculous

  7. Absolutely terrible manfred is ruining baseball. If this continues I’ll definitely not be watching baseball anymore

  8. A pitch clock is one of the stupidest things MLB has ever done. All to appeal to those who don't care nor understand how special baseball is compared to other sports. Now you are pandering to short attention spans. Never thought baseball would ever have a clock.

  9. That is one of the stupidest rules. Just let them play baseball if people don’t enjoy watching long baseball games then they shouldn’t watch baseball

  10. I think the pitch clock is dumb. A sports game shouldn't feel rushed, letbalone a baseball game. The clock is gonna be to much of a hassle for umpires, pitchers, and hitters. If they're gonna keep the pitch clock, at least make the time longer. Like 40-50 seconds in any scenario.

  11. The best attribute baseball HAD was that unlike almost all other sports, it wasn’t based off time. You couldn’t run the clock down, or do anything by other means to waste time. You HAD to let the other guy get their fair and basically equal chance in baseball. Now baseball needs to be timed apparently, and have time violations, which tremendously change the course of a game, no matter when they’re called. This is absurd, not to mention the new pickoff/disengagement rules, the ghost runner on second in extras, and the 3 batter minimum from a couple years back. Baseball shouldn’t be timed, that’s what makes it great

  12. Ruining baseball one rule at a time. I'm out..who'd watch this garbage let alone pay for it.

  13. Is their goal to get less people to watch the game? Hopefully this won’t last long, it’s going to ruin it for us fans.

  14. Honestly I dont think its too bad, just a little short, the batter should have enough time to clear their head a little and try to think about what the next pitch would be, doesnt take too long but having to be in the box by 8 is kinda quick

  15. Since games will be shorter , expect higher prices for beer and food since owners need to make up for that revenue.

  16. I don't like this. It makes that games feel rushed. Pitchers also can't throw hitters off with their timing. I think that it takes a way from the freedom that the hitter and pitcher had before.

  17. I’m glad, now pitchers won’t take 50 years to think about what pitch they’re gonna throw next and hitters won’t take another 50 taking a pitch, stepping out the box, and adjusting their batting gloves ON A PITCH THEY DIDNT EVEN SWING AT. Go watch those older games and see how fast those pitchers and hitters were going through an at bat, AND the games were far more entertaining then todays crap. Where a hitter wastes all that time just to strike out because he wants to use some launch angle bs to hit a home run instead of focusing on just putting the bat on the ball. Baseball became far less entertaining the longer the games went, and this shot will inject some badly needed pace and make baseball worth watching again.

  18. Imagine a 2 Out 2 Strike count in the 9th Inning with game on the line. normally the pitcher would take a little more time and the crowd would make itself heard, creating some extra tension. now this metronome style play doesn't really allow for that…

  19. This completely changes the dynamic of the sport. It's simply no longer baseball… So just market it as something else.

  20. Sports has changed drastically over the last decade. I just don't watch it seriously no more. Sports has become entertainment. All offense, no defense, rigged games….now baseball over the last few years ruined their game.

  21. They should have just kept same rules but make baseball 7 innings. If you want it over faster. 9 is way to long & boring
