  1. After a very strong start the Brew Crew has been lackluster the last 20 games. Here’s hoping they bounce back

  2. The Brewers need more pitchers that have good movement on their pitch selection, like Harrison has. And the middle inning pitchers need 100mph heat, no different than a closer. It's too obvious this pitching scheme in MLB is overthought, given that a starter is only going to the 5th or 6th inning. Two batting rotations against slerves, three innnings of heat, close the game.

  3. Kyle Harrison could be a really really good Starter for us. Imagine if the injuries could FINALLY give us a break, PLEASE!! Brandon Woodruff, Kyle Harrison, Jacob Misiorowski, Chad Patrick, with Coleman Crow, Robert Gasser DL Hall and a few other pitchers we could have a lethal staff, BUT if we can't get some much needed offensive firepower, not even the BEST Pitching Staff can win if their offense can only get 1-3 runs a game. The Brewers have 2 really good pitchers in AAA while their bullpen has been awful the last week or so. Trevor Megill hasn't allowed a run in his last 3 outings. Zerpa has been absolutely awful. Our closers/bullpen has run into a rut. But considering that the Starting Pitchers barely can make it to the 6th inning? The bullpen is probably getting tired too.

  4. Ashby is 5-0. I suppose when the starting pitchers get pulled in the 4th inning it allows the long relievers the chance to get the decision. Ashby has been one of the biggest bright spots in the bullpen. Trevor Megill you can see his demeanor has changed. He doesn't have that same intensity after a strikeout. His last 3 or so appearances however have been making progress. 3 innings 0 earned runs and I think 3 or 4 K's. We need Trevor Megill to get his swagger back. Abner Uribe has been decent, but a closer needs to have that lights out ERA.

  5. Nice job by the boys to stop this downward slide that we are in. It's rare to shutout a team even in the pitch clock era or by todays standards huh? Let's go Brewers clap clap clap clap clap.

  6. I don’t believe in “must win games” early in the season but this was as close to one is it gets. Cant get swept at home by an NL Central rival. Kyle Harrison put the team on his back yesterday and we finally, FINALLY, strung some hits together. Even if it was only for one inning. We really need Chourio, Vaughn, and Yeli in this lineup. Frelick needs to get going, too. Still fully believe in this team when fully healthy.

    Turang, 2B
    Chourio, LF
    Yelich, DH
    Contreras, C
    Mitchell, CF
    Vaughn, 1B
    Frelick, RF
    Rengifo, 3B
    Ortiz/Hamilton, SS

I like that lineup, I really do
