  1. Nick Yorke with one of the most unclutch performances you'll see in a while. 1 out bases loaded, ground out into easiest double play of the year. . . 9th inning? Don't expect much

  2. Kelly blew it. Bases loaded with Bucs in the 7th with 1 out and maybe the hottest hitter in the league due up in Lowe who in the past 3 games was 6-11 with 4 home runs, and he takes him out of the game because it is a lefty vs lefty situation. Instead he puts in the rookie, Yorke who grounds into an inning ending double play. What's worse is Yorke came up one more time in the game with a runner in scoring position only this time it is righty vs righty and he gets another out.

  3. 11:25 That's also one of the best receipts from a catcher you'll see on an outfielder's assist all month. The lull, the positioning, the perfectly timed closure of the easiest lane while staying legal, the tag.

Man, that's beautiful. Teach the other outfielders to play like that.

  4. Egregious! You dont Bench your Superstar with bases Loaded in the 7th inning of a tight Game. Absolutetly idiotic Analytics BS!

  5. This was not a bad loss by the Pirates i honestly saw this coming though i dont recall ever in recent memory seeing the Pirates win the game following a route like they had in the first game.

  6. When inexperienced baseball managers get too full of themselves and start thinking they can try to win games, instead of remembering that PLAYERS win games, not managers:

Bucs within a run, bases loaded, one out, and the Nationals quaking in their cleats at the prospect of facing red-hot Brandon Lowe, and so what happens? Pirates manager Don "9,423 people came here tonight to watch me make managerial decisions based on lefty-righty matchup printouts" Kelly (or some quant?) decides to swap in Nick Yorke to pinch hit. GIDP. And because of this Ex-Lax smooth move of the month, who comes again up in the 9th with 2 out and the tying runner in scoring position? NOT all-star Brandon Lowe, AGAIN! No disrespect to Yorke, who's been decent (though NO better against lefties than Lowe!), but Lowe has been so hot this past week that if you dropped him on Iran, it'd be a war crime! Is there any further evidence needed that Don Kelly can be cheaply replaced with an A.I. algorithm with no step-down whatsoever in managerial acumen? Listen: Lowe is the offensive ALL-STAR you traded for EXACTLY because you didn't HAVE any offensive all-stars before, and he is RED-HOT to boot! So in a winnable game in a crucial moment, you — pinch hit for him with someone who is NOT an all-star? 🤯😵‍💫😵
    Aurrrgh!

  7. Why does everyone hate Miles so much? He looks like a cool corn-actor from the 80s and has a funny way to pitch
