The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Chicago Cubs 2-0 at Wrigley Field on April 10, 2026. Bryan Reynolds provided the offense with a clutch two-run home run in the seventh inning to break the scoreless tie. Mason Montgomery came up big out of the bullpen, escaping a bases-loaded jam to preserve the lead, while Dennis Santana recorded his first save of the season as the Pirates secured the series opener in Chicago.

  1. Pirates were no-hit by Imanaga through six. Fortunately they made him throw a lot of pitches to get him out after six innings. They needed to see another pitcher! Mlodzinski and the bullpen pitched well and had good defense to get out of a lot of jams! #LetsGoBucs ⚾🏴‍☠

  2. Good pirates praise Reynolds as the on of the adversaries throws thing makes and you laugh the ball out in sector and spins running in the house whont rupi end now

  3. Can we have a winning season this year maybe or do we wait another 20+ years again?
