As a Die-Hard Mets fan, I will say….thank God for the one year player contracts, which is the Big thing in MLB, so the Mets decision makers can wisen up, and clean house on their non-productive pitchers & spend money on solid, productive pitchers, and try to sign one good slugger hitter during free agency. Having said that, now that he's on the irrelevant Mets, likely he won't be in any meaningful postseason moments. But, if there is a next time, make it hurt where he can't control it, that's the best. What do I mean? Walk his 🍑 and pitch the next guy humbly take the no hitter all the way home to Cleveland. Use better strategy. Lindor I get, but we should've not let Soto have that chance, that would've hurt him more, they do it to Jose all the time..
