Wisteria is an orphan living in a corner of the British Empire in the late 19th century. Her life is ruined and dark — until she meets Malbus, an immortal soul with a strong sense of loneliness and is furry, hunted by hunters. Together, Wisteria and Malbus roamed the empire — full of humans and demihumans — looking for a place where they could live together peacefully.
