Optional Characters:
Haswar, Urda, Isato – After the Queen’s War battle, return to Lunas (make sure to have Takamu in the party). Trigger a scene in the Master’s Conclave and respond to dialogue choices either way. The three will join after reaching the exit of the forest.
Eresh – Return to the big hole with Jeane in the party and escape scrolls after the Queen’s War battle. Eresh will join the party and (note: she will not be recruited at this point, only join) and navigate to the end of the large dungeon. Eresh will open a chamber even further and unlock a deeper, more advanced dungeon. Navigate through the three levels and fight a boss on the final floor and befriend her after the battle.
*Eresh is unique in that it is possible to recruit Euram in her place as a star of destiny. If you want to recruit Euram, you can still do most of Eresh’s dungeon, but you must leave before facing the boss and triggering her joining. Euram is recruited in the final stretches of the game and you must have Alhazrad, Isabel, and Mathias to befriend him.
Suikoden V is a 2006 role-playing game developed by Konami as the final entry of the now cult hit series. This is my first completed entry in the series in an attempt to understand the incredible hype around Eiyuden Chronicles, an upcoming kickstarted spiritual successor to the Suikoden series created by many of the original developers.
