Btw since so many people make fun of them claimed to be straight. It’s at least canon that Yoshiki is queer and was in love with Hikaru. The Mangaka confirmed it. It‘s just not listed as a bl because it‘s not a romance. It‘s a Mystery Horror story with queer characters since the real Hikaru actually also had feelings for Yoshiki. But the Monster doesn‘t really feel the same kind of love as human beings. So I don‘t think they end up together. Even though that scene seems really se*ual. 😅

I just got netflix and watched this. The Summer Hikaru Died is so deep and emotional. I can't help but re watch scenes. It reminds me of my first love but also questioning death and if there is a heaven or we just want to believe we still exist after we die or this is our only one chance to live. Very melancholy but beautiful deep anime. Excited for season 2. TRUE LOVE YAOI/BISHOUNEN
