All right, we’re back with Tibate episode 6. Last episode, three key things. First one, well, I guess kind of multiple things tied at once, but Tessia is the Elvish Princess. And while like 99% of the population is looking, giving us racist looks, they like want to freaking tie us at the steak and like crucify us. Tessia’s grandpa actually likes us. One, he was training us, and two, he knows about what our pains are. He said beast will something like that. And the only beast that I can like that comes to mind is the the freaking dog that we were feeding on our way here. But I don’t know. Second thing, looks like we’re going to stay here. We’re going to stay here to keep training. They did uh I think it was the dad or the grandpa that they mentioned that there is a teleporter, but it’s kind of only used every 5 or 10 years for like the bootleg kag summit between uh I guess the the beastmen and some of dwarves and them. So, we’re going to stick around for a while. And they said they’re going to try and find a way to give a message to our family somehow. And then the last thing is is the look that Tessia was giving us at the start of last episode. And I say we were kind of memeing that like what the [ __ ] was that? Was it just an oversight or something? But no, it was actually an important detail because even Arthur was like, “Huh? Why was she giving that look in the first place?” And you know what? I I will uh say that I’ll apologize. Uh it’s cooking harder than we were expecting. So I also expect that dog to maybe come back and do something. I don’t know. Let’s just find out what happens. Okay. visiting Veron’s friend who was able to uh use her divination powers to contact our parents one-sidedly, right? Well, I I guess technically they could say something and we could see it. Were we able to hear? Probably not. I don’t know. I guess it’s not that important. Uh but yeah, we were able to some send them a message telepathically kind of um that we’re okay. We’re in the village village and we got to stay here cuz we got some problems. They’ll just take our word for it that we can get cured here. Uh cuz wouldn’t it be like publicly known that these guys are hostile to us? I mean, I guess it’s better than uh being dead, right? So, I guess there’s something to celebrate about there, but yeah, it looks like they’re just chilling in this other place. I forgot where exactly. We were originally trying to go get us a tutor, right? A magic tutor. Huh. Well, okay. Well, 3 years have passed now. Do you think that’s still going to come into effect? Maybe. Also, are they even still there? Uh, well, looks like the other party left, right? Yeah, the old party. They like uh they went away after this. They dropped us off and then they dipped out. Okay, but Jasmine heavily featured in the trailers. So maybe we run into her at some point. She’s just shown in the forest just doing some random ninja [ __ ] and then we just run into her. I don’t know. Okay, well that problem is resolved now about being able to get into contact with them. Next part is kind of getting the king, the dad to be okay with us being here. I mean, him like just flip- flopping back and forth was like it’s like kind of realistic, I guess. But I mean, as for a viewer for something like this, uh, I don’t think it’s really that necessary cuz he didn’t really say anything. He’s they’re just like, “Uh, well, he saved my life.” Yeah, but okay. And then just ends up like next scene just being racist again to her repeating the exact same thing. But it looks like she finally got it to work. Then we get some like mini slice of life compilation here. But right before that, this Ivysaur 2 comes in, wants to start [ __ ] I mean, surely, even though the scene was like super quick, surely we see this guy, right? Cuz I don’t know, this was kind of like random to waste time on if this guy doesn’t become relevant, at least now in this post threeear time skip. And as they said, uh I don’t know if we’re going to entirely rely on that portal thing, right? That portal that opens every 5 years or something. I think they said it opens every some amount of years, but the next one’s in 5 years. So, we’re roughly Well, we’re more than halfway there now. So yeah, I guess we’ll be here for a bit longer. We’ll interact with this guy. Maybe he went underwent training also for 3 years and he wants a rematch. Something like that, right? But yeah, we knocked him out super quick. Just one punch literally. Um I guess this were backed by Tessia and the grandpa Virian. Uh they can’t really start that much [ __ ] But I don’t know. In theory, this is also problematic. No. Or is there like a high value of honor here where we saw that he’s the one that challenged it? And there’s a bunch of witnesses, too. So there’s no point in like stirring [ __ ] up, I guess, right? It’s probably a thing. And then our training started, but we didn’t get to see any, but I guess I don’t know. Maybe what were we doing? It’s not that important. I I do kind of want to see a little bit. No, maybe we’ll get flashbacks of it uh next episode. Or maybe not even flashbacks. They just show this just I don’t know, just to give us a tease for something. But uh yeah, beastr training. Kind of curious about that. Like I said, we still got our dragon egg thing, right? Do we we still have that, right? I didn’t forget about it. Uh or what happened to it? Uh and then I don’t know. Is it worth focusing on that dog thing? Maybe not. Maybe it’s just like a prelude. It still be like, “Hey, you kind of have that u like it was able to sense that you had that affinity and then he’ll just give a flashback and be like, oh, that’s why that dog thing was following me.” But yeah, I don’t know. Key thing, no crazy waterfall animation. I mean, I the frame I just paused on. I mean, there’s waterfalls here, right? Never mind. Okay, we had crazy waterfall animation. Dude, that’s so depressing. Uh I don’t know. The best we could do is like page for some like blue lock season 2 type ending where whatever the climax of the season is, we just go giga hard on it and that’s what people remember and then I don’t know this will gain traction or something, right? Cuz like slower pacing usually indicates better storytelling, right? Uh I did say in the previous episodes that when you have [ __ ] production with slow pacing, it kind of just makes everything worse as a whole. But there are enough subplots cooking that are that keep me engaged and keep me interested to see what’s happening. I mean, I I did say last episode that kind of talking about the [ __ ] animation is like beating a dead horse at this point. But I’m going to be honest, like it kind of felt like last episode was a tiny bit step up, right? Not even went like half a step, but we just regressed. We just went we hit rock bottom again. I don’t know. Maybe we’re even going worse. I don’t know. I don’t know. It’s whatever. Like I said, we’re just on maximum copium levels at this point. Yeah. I don’t know.
