All right, we’re back with Ailier Meister episode 5. Last episode we started off with uh our priest from our old party model for us. Something like that. She’s working with the the church, but actually they’re kind of just using her, right? I don’t know if it was a high priest, bishop or cardinal guy, guy with gold grills. End up just using her to summon a bunch of skeletons and attack uh attack our city. Our wall that we were building in episode one ended up coming clutch when other monsters were coming in contact with the wall. Just ended up killing them off. We’re still under house arrest though. They want us to keep being unaware. So, we they told us not to leave. And uh Lizlot’s here with us. Kurt being Kurt. Somehow all the stuff that he gave us, the wall and some magic stones are really helping everyone else fight the monsters. But he was also blacksmithing here in in the house. And he made a sword. He’s like, “Dude, this sword [ __ ] sucks. This is so shit.” And he ended up giving it to Lizot. Honestly, we already know it’s going to be OP somehow. And they said at the end, “Oh, I can’t do anything. I’m just being a burden. Whatever.” Blah blah blah. They decided to sneak out and go join the battlefield. Meanwhile, everyone else, Ulia, I think everyone else is there, Affilia, too. Everyone there, they’re they’re going to go where Bris is at to try and uh stop the source. Oh, no. Have you seen this guy [Music] before? Okay. That was uh this episode 6, five, six, six. This episode six of uh Unaware Tillium Meister. We are halfway through the season and you can definitely feel the mid-season dip, right? We always kind of talk about this on, you know, especially when I make like those tier lists, which how many how many shows fit into this like power fantasy category? Uh I don’t know. It is that time of time time, but we’re one month in, so I don’t know. Is it worth doing one? Uh maybe. Uh but when you hit the middle of the season, uh especially for shows that kind of rely on a gimmick. In this case, the gimmick is kind of the comedy between Kurt being OP but not being aware of it starts to kind of fall off. I mean, there are definitely still some fight moments here, right? Um but can we expect whatever this plot with this tyone guy to carry us until the end of the season? I don’t know. Maybe it’s just because like the most of this episode was a fight, but and and like honestly the quality of the fight was pretty ass cuz like what’s kind of been going on so far, right? New characters come in and I guess the funny part is just getting their reaction to something crazy happening. Well, Kurt’s just so nonchalot about it, right? The thing is we got robbed of uh Marl Fris here cuz she has to go to jail. Uh, I don’t know if from the OP there were more people we got to add, but that’s the thing, right? We have Kurt scaling here where like we just increase Kurt’s feats until uh I don’t know at some point everyone just keeps saying that they can’t be they thought they wouldn’t be surprised anymore. But um I don’t know in theory eventually that should be the case, right? I don’t know. There there is kind of a turning point now, right? Where we actually just said [ __ ] the rules. We’re out. we’re going to go help out the battlefield. Uh, so maybe the dynamic changes, but I don’t know. When you have like these types of shows, you don’t really expect the writing to be taken seriously. You just stick to stick to the one uh stick to the gimmick, stick to the formula, and just stay there. So, I don’t know. There is this like weird demon girl. Is she chained up? Yeah, she is chained up. She’s chained up. Uh, but it seems like she’s intentionally chained up. She just don’t give a [ __ ] right? Cuz this this uh tyone guy shows up, but she didn’t seem like I don’t know. She just seemed she like she didn’t care. Uh there is still that plot with the uh the nobles fighting against each other, right? like whoever is trying to uh the anti-lesslot faction with uh I already forgot his name, but the Tristan, Bishop Tristan. Yeah. Yeah. And like I said, we still haven’t seen uh the receptionist in a long time. I don’t know, maybe her role is over, but she’s like the only person outside of our little uh little group here, or little family that knows our secret. I don’t know. We’ll see. Uh we’ll see how long this uh this gimmick can last. We’ll see how far it can carry us. I don’t know. Maybe if when we go back to the slice of life stuff next episode, uh it’ll be better cuz like like I said, if they’re not willing to put production into this fight, there’s only so much you can do with it.
