I was really surprised by the production value of Cinderella Gray, I went in expecting a kind of mediocre sports anime like Highspeed Etoile but the animation, voice acting, soundtrack but especially the overall plot thus far has been excellent. Definitely not something I expected from the "haha horsegirl racing" anime.
Belno Light is a fictional character, but it is said that she is modeled after a real racehorse. The horse's name is "TwinBee."

Here's something interesting for the title of the show, since the real Oguri Cap is known for being a grey haired horse (I mean his nickname is literally the Grey-Haired Monster), I wonder if that's why the series insists on having grey in the title. Also fun fact, Cinderella in Chinese is 灰姑娘, which basically translates to Grey Lady, that's a pretty cool coincidence.
I don't like sport shows.. but this one … gotta grow a tail and run I guess. XD

We all know that the Uma Musume franchise is one of the most popular in Japan and that it has broken various records. For One piece I'm not criticizing the work which is exceptional in its popularity, it follows the pattern of standard shonen (the last shonen that I follow a little, Naruto I stopped since the Pain arc), I watch One Piece from time to time the evolution of the univers and one day i want to know the end!!! but One Piece bores me now!

The genius thing about Uma Musume is that it's all based off what really happened in Japan. They're all real racehorses, their outfits are takes on the livery that they wore (the colors) and even their shoes being one brown/black and one white is based off if the horse had different colored feet. They put so much into this anime it's amazing.
6:03 no (or not yet as of now), umamusume is focused on jp horses so seabiscuit doesn't have a counterpart (yet).
Don't think it's going to hit over 25k. While it's massively big in japan, the western audience is just abysmally low. And getting into the japanese algorithm is hard because there are just too many uma musume content (in japanese) out there
