   Bruh. You need to re-watch the second half of the anime. Goddess admits in the first giga-fight that she is the one who reincarnated Jill to the past by piercing her with a spear before Jill falls to death. That is why she was so eager to pierce Jill before her death. But goddess did not realize that Jill kept the memories of past life.
   The only revelation for the Goddess in the scene you showing is that she is surprised that Jill kept her memories from past life. And by the way Faris is Goddess and has been since the very first scene after the spear broke in two. So it is not Faris who finds out, but Goddess.

    This anime looks interesting, but dammit I'm so tired of this type of setting.
    I get that Japanese want escapism from their hell hole reality, but why dose it always gotta be in some dungeons and dragons – middle earth – family royalty type shit?

    learning that the princess is meant to be possessed by the goddess, makes me think that her older brother was in fact in love with the goddess and not his actual little sister (still messed up though)
