Akira (Junichi Okada) is known as Fable, a legendary hitman. Due to being overworked his boss orders Fable to live a quiet and normal life with his partner Yoko (Fumino Kimura), pretending to be siblings. Akira works part-time at a design company called Octopus with alongside its CEO Takoda (Jiro Sato) and employee Misaki (Mizuki Yamamoto). Meanwhile, a man named Utsubo (Shinichi Tsutsumi), who works as a representative for an NPO, is secretly working with a contract killer named Suzuki (Masanobu Ando) to extort people. They target someone at Octopus.

The Fable is the modern version of Batosai (Himura Kenshin). They are both assassins (hitman) and they don't kill anymore.. difficult to do in such action packed movies.. The only difference is The Fable was able to successfully insert funny scenes in their movies (original and the sequel)..
action scene was good, not bad. But main character face show to many expression unlike in the manga where he doesnt show many expression. His emotionless face make it hard to know what state of his mind in manga
