After I discovered the Duel Masters manga and the actual 2nd season of the anime which was called Duel Masters Charge (it’s had 52 episodes), I always wonder why Hasbro Entertainment created this American exclusive season instead of just dubbing Charge. I check the airdates and episode 24 of Charge aired 2 days after Sacred Lands started, and episode 46 of Charge aired 2 days after Sacred Lands episode 26 (the final episode of this filler season) aired. With episodes 27-39 of Sacred Lands being the compressed first 26 episodes of Charge, and by the time the English dub ended, Charge had ended 3 months ago. It just make me wonder why goes through all of that effort when it would have been easier to just dubbed Charge from the get go.
