I love how this acknowledge the whole franchise with all the movies getting the same amount of spotlight. Gamera guardian of the universe was my first Kaiju movie, I'm glad to see the giant turtle making his long awaited comeback.
Its amazing to me how well the original films have been cleared up by modern tech. Thoes early films on Broadcast TV, VHS and early DVD came from old degrading garbage film stock. I will always be kinda shocked on the clarity of the new remasters as im am used to decades of the bad film stocks. Im Glad i got the Blu-ray vol1 comp before it went OOP and the legal mess in Japan over the rights to Gamera became a chaotic mess. Im glad Gamera is back and hope for more Gamera content.

It was way longer to wait for Gamera's return than Godzilla and Kong and Ultraman has always continued on

The franchise is pretty crazy, but the ones in 90s are amazing

I still want another big budget live action Gamera movie…the animated series is great don’t get me wrong but it’s just not the same!
