    My theory is that Elf died. That's why Ojisan only remember the bad things and not a lot of good times. If I remember correctly in the manga, there are times where Ojisan is suprise by Elf action when he was watching the memory like he doesn't remember.

    The opening at the end also has a scene with notebook and blood spill over it like the side effect of memory rushing back after erasing them.

    Just a wild guess but it'll be a twist for a comedy anime/manga. And all good story must have a twist.

    Edit: Both the opening and ending song also mention alot about erased memories, loosing memories and nostalgic. There is no doubt in my mind that this is possible, knowing the imagination process of a lot of mangaka.

    I'm not that big into Isekai, but this is the first anime that really makes me appreciate the genre. It has unconvential approach to how it hands everything, including it's main lead. 🙂

    I sincerely hope this gets another season. Not exaggerating when I say it's one of the funniest anime I have ever seen in my life. And at the moment I've completed 880 anime so that's saying A LOT.

    This opening is one of the most unique ones.. and i love how uncle just thrived through all the hardships he went.. it gives me goosebumps whever i hear this opening for some reason.. it fits too perfectly with the anime
