ive seen a couple lives by professional djs (that arent from the franchise) and merm4id is by far the closest to their sound and how they hype u up (second, third, and fourth maybe being CoA, peaky, and photon). the scratching, the beat, everything in merm4id's music is reminiscent of edm now! u could probably play it in a club and no one will wonder if it's from a DJ rhythm game lol (if i got some decks, first songs i'll be getting are those unit's songs, then mayyyybe rondo bc i love them a lot haha)
also. saori's scratching rivals that of a damn professional, what the hell. how much did she practice everything!!?!?! i heard difficult transitions to pull off in their songs and just. saori. u are practically a pro. please stop beating urself up.
Glad you gave Merm4id the Justice it deserves. Merm4id is my favorite unit (character and music wise) because Merm4id songs imo can be absolute bangers just from the instrumentals alone. For me, the vocals just are an awesome addition to an already awesome song. I don’t feel this way towards the other groups, as I feel like without the vocals, it really feels like something is missing greatly, but Merm4id can stand strongly on its own, just by the epic bgm!
I knew I wasn't the only one who thinks UniChØrd is Happy Around! 2.0 xD That said, they only have like, one, two songs out so I'm willing to give them space (heh) to cultivate their style

I seriously thought about the way d4dj defines "dj unit": dj with singers and dancers. I thought about if there was any American equivalent, and the first thing I got was LMFAO- the beats of Party Rock Anthem is something Merm4id could have come up with, imo.

Shame about Non Rei. Can't really replace what she brought to the table, but the new Rei is mixing really well since her sound is similar to the other members.
Peaky kind of hit a ceiling with their first few songs that they've never really been able to top, but that ceiling was so high that all their songs are really good.
I say it all the time but Photon bangers keeps on going. They had best music locked down since Anniversary 1 and the hits don't stop.
Merm4id definitely got that throbbing blood pumping rave music going.

Call of Artemis Nana and Raychell bullying children, but also don't have enough time so if you're lucky maybe 1 song a year. Songs that definitely sounds like something that's older than most of the cast.

nothing but facts here, youre so right about merm4id, high tension bpm is literally the whole reason i fell in love with the game because it blew my mind with how cool the dj type sound was compared to other idol games
Even though happy ara and unichord are similar I do have a feeling that unichord will have music with darker lyrics and stronger rhythms because they seem more mature and experienced especially lumina

Merm4id es lo unico por lo que me gusta d4dj, casi todas las canciones son poderosas y con personalidad, OMG es mi canción favorita, escuchar merm4id con auriculares es lo mas hermoso que han escuchado mis oidos, y ahora agrégale que sus integrantes son diosas (tanto en live como en el anime) y boom 🧡🧡🧡
