The End of Evangelion (新世紀エヴァンゲリオン劇場版 Air エア/まごころを、君に Shin Seiki Evangerion Gekijō-ban: Ea/Magokoro o, Kimi ni) is a 1997 Japanese animated science fiction film written and directed by Hideaki Anno and animated by Production I.G. The film serves as an alternative, or a more detailed version to the final two episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion television anime series.
It is divided into two approximately 45-minute episodes, with each episode having alternate English titles just as with the original series: “Episode 25′: Air / Love is Destructive” and “Episode 26′: Sincerely Yours / ONE MORE FINAL: I need you.”.
