Season 7 Episode “A Pox On Our House”
A teenage girl (Hayley Chase) comes to the hospital displaying classic smallpox symptoms, which the team dismisses as impossible until her step-father (Andrew Fiscella) gets sick as well. Once the CDC intervenes and isolates the patients, the team is unable to explore any further until House takes a life-threatening risk.

  1. “If he had developed escars I’ve would’ve noticed.”

Really, you would’ve notice one tiny black dot on the patients back behind a glass wall!!!! Then how come you did miss it?

  2. I like how a lot of Antivax parents say “we don’t want harmful chemicals in their body, can’t you just inject a small amount of the virus to let their body build defense naturally” like🤨 wtf. That’s exactly what a vaccine is. And Covid? It’s a Vaccine not a locked door. A vaccine means you can still get the virus it just won’t be anywhere near as harmful. Except smallpox, and other childhood life long vaccinations.

  3. Can't be smallpox cause smallpox literally doesn't exist anymore. The only 2 living samples of it are frozen in a lab in Russia and a CDC lab in georgia. It hasn't infected a human since the 80s

  4. This one is timely, with the reoccurance of smallpox in NYC, I could be wrong, but I think I heard of a couple cases, a few weeks ago 🤔😕

  5. The stripper/translator is such a good actor for the role. Her dutch accent is perfect.

  6. I think that cdc guy was a principle for a school. Went missing on Halloween after going through the woods by himself.

  7. the CDC guy is literally doing what cuddy does every episode, except when she says no to house she gets criticised

  8. Just put your n95 on and keep everyone six feet away.
    DUH.

  9. I really hated Masters throughout most of the season but I like how far she was willing to go to save people

  10. no need to take off the gloves. all movements could be accomplished with gloves on. 1/10 bullshit scene

  11. Shouldn't House be vaccinated against smallpox? Don't know if they still vaccinate but House is old enough to have undergone vaccination in the 70s.

  12. Can't help but wonder what the show would of made of the recent "unpleasantness"

  13. It's funny seeing another high end doctor but with normal ethics compared to house. There's really no downside to giving the girl doxycycline but he just won't do it anyway cause that's technically the right call.

  14. I dated a girl who was a vet and watching this episode for the first time, the minute she heard about the cat she said "rickettsialpox."

  15. 6:30

The boy did this so well. Boys in their early teens feel awkward crying in front of others, even if the crying is completely justified. He's kind of looking away, body not properly facing her.

That or I'm looking way too deep into something that isn't even a thing.

  16. Wait wouldn't they of all had a smallpox vaccine? Thought that was mandatory around the time you're born.

  17. love how this series showcases that most doctors don't know jackshyt . and we have the saviours called the House team.

while the House Team doesn't exist IRL, the incompetent doctors do . welp

  18. its pretty cool they shutdown whole hospital for the virus

  19. “Because of a bald cat? Ever heard of shedding?”
But…cats don’t usually go bald when shedding…NOT UNLESS SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THEM!
