“Emergency Express ’93 Shikaku wo Tsuke! (視覚を突け!) Omnibus”, 1993 Toy’s Factory.

Banana Fish formed in 1991. The group went on to release a few demos throughout late 1991 and 1992, and also released their first mini-album, “B.F.”, in the summer of 1992, which sold somewhat well among the early indies visual circuit. Soon after its release, however, bassist Akira left. He was then replaced by Nagano, although he also left the group shortly afterwards. Ida then joined Banana Fish in late 1992, and in February of 1993, the group appeared on the “Emergency Express ’93 Shikaku wo Tsuke! (視覚を突け!)” omnibus. Later that August, the group appeared on the “Cry-Max Pleasure ~Welcome to the Front Line Party~” omnibus, and Banana Fish went on to tour throughout the remainder of 1993 and some of 1994, before ultimately disbanding by the summer of 1994. Guitarist Ume went on to join the legendary visual group Decameron immediately after Banana Fish’s split, and was active in the group until its disbandment in 1997. After Decameron split, Ume then retired from the visual scene. The bassist of Banana Fish, Ida, went on to join the visual group Spark Sparks, which had a surprisingly long run, and was active until January of 2005, after nearly eight years of activity. After Spark Sparks’s long run, Ida then retired from the visual scene as well, after nearly two decades of involvement in the scene.
