I have been waiting months for this theme to release when i heard it in the 1st and 4th trailer. It's just so good! Really captures what is happening in the story. The added instruments like the flute makes it even better!
I especially love how it was used when Rhodes Island saved the mother and girl from Reunion.

Pain and PTSD, now in animated form. Aside from one episode, the show was a perfect and faithful adaptation.

But damn this feels nostalgic to some old fantasy rpg vibe
im at a total loss here and i happy it's that way. i doubted Yuki Hayashi style and experience would fit AK bleakness and lack of heroism bcs his most prevalent work are all have such a strong sense of heroism, even when somber and melancholic.
but this, this just speaks volume in the bleakness and faint hope AK present as it's introduction, and well preserve later too. this ost speaks in desperation of the situation RI found in, when their fresh ideals got challenged first hand and will so again and again in the future.
this can also very well be fit in anywhere at the climax of AK story wholly, when their ideals face the worst challenge and presented with the highest price for it. maybe when Doc regains all memories and gone rogue, maybe when the sky started revealing all, maybe when Amiya melted millions of lives under the black crown.
i still gonna wait if Yutaka Yamada can partake in making the future ost for AK, but Yuki Hayashi definitely blew my minds out completely

Even though this is not the best chapters that the game has to offer we cannot deny the fact that Arknights manages to animate the details so well. It gives Arknights players a proper visualisation of what we are reading in the story. And also Iam glad that most (if not all) new Arknights viewers stick until the very end of the anime. Rather than already saying that this is a Masterpiece I'd call it an Interesting one.

I wished that there was more development on the main plot about the nature of the Doctah, but I won't say no to a decently paced development. Plus, it seems like they are going to make a next season (just hope they have the money to maintain the quality of the production)
