  1. This is one of the best episode of the Memorial Edition for me.
I'd argue this is as important as the bonfire of dreams because it helped solidify Guts and Casca's relationship with how they're able to connect and bond with their past traumas and understanding each other.
It helps paint a more deep picture that Casca didn't just feel emotions of love or care for Guts because she knows she can't be with Griffith and Guts is just a rebound for the lack of better term, but that she genuinely grew feelings for Guts when they opened up towards each other during the entirety of the Wounds chapter.
They did a great job adding the wounds chapters scene since the 1997 anime haven't done that.

  2. yeah totally agtee with the faces guts was making they could have done a lot better with that

  3. The scene with Donovan is weird because….it should be that weird and creepy lol 🤣

  4. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Vatican and the Holy See are essentially the same thing irl. The words are often used interchangeably with the actual location of Vatican City/the Catholic Church there and the Church hierarchy and administration located there. Meaning they both refer to the same thing when said in Berserk.

  5. It's about time one of Berserk's best chapters was animated 💖😭
Thanks for covering this –Tranquil Dionysian– Berserk Dude ^^

  6. I'm beyond happy to see the Wounds Chapters adapted. It was so incredible watching it for the first time in the 1997 anime and then so emotional reading it in the manga. This is a can't skip part of Berserk. It's what made me fall in love with the Guts and Casca relationship and how deep it was beyond the passion of love and all. They have a bond that is second to none.

  7. I hope the team could add some post-eclipse scenes of Guts, like he declaring war on demons, dressing up new armor and gears as well as taking Dragonslayer for the first time as the new ending

  8. 🐰I am so happy they added wounds I just wished we saw Casca getting nervous because of her scars from the battling as women and its just shows that she does have a feminine side plus it would make sense when she said " I've already shown you everything I went and laid bare all my weakness to you. It kinda feels like we're finally even". I am not complaining I just trying help the new Strugglers 😁🐰

  9. Campfire of Dreams, Wounds, Cracks in the Blade, A Feeble Flame, Bubbles of Futility….Berserk has some powerful chapters

  10. Is Donovan not an apostle? Or like a Ghanishka type character? I thought that's why he looked like that, also does anything else happen with Donovan or is this just the one time he's ever shown or brought up?

  11. @4:32 For some reason Donovan reminds me of a Boondocks character in that scene lol and I really like how they were a little bit more in-depth with Guts & Cascas sex scene. Makes me wonder if they’ll give the same treatment to that “other” scene later on 👀

  12. 6:15 So they didn't cover it? The version I watched off 'KickAss Anime' showed the scene with a giant ray of sunshine covering the image! Good to know if true.
