Misa Kuranaga has been a featured Guest Artist in several Galas of the World Ballet Competition in Orlando, FL performing a variety of works — from the Don Quixote pas de deux to contemporary works by Viktor Plotnikov.

Misa Kuranaga joined Boston Ballet in 2003, promoted to the rank of principal dancer with the company in 2009. She is the recipient of numerous honors including being nominated for a Benois de la Danse award as well as receiving the gold medal at the 9th Moscow International Ballet Competition.
