The pause she took from tennis, becoming a mother, really did a lot for her mental health. She was just a normal nerdy teen who enjoyed anime and memes (and she still does), and suddenly having to deal with all that attention and pressure of becoming the "new great thing" really broke her.
It really looks like she only cares about is trying her best in each game.

Osaka has too many weapons. She didn't have to play defensively very often because she was so busy hammering winners with authority all over the court. Alexandrova didn't stand a chance with Osaka firing on all cylinders.
