2012年11月30日 東京・福家書店 新宿サブナード店。ＡＫＢ４８の篠田麻里子さん（２６）がビジュアルブック「Ｙｅｓ　ａｎｄ　Ｎｏ　Ｍａｒｉｋｏ　Ｓｈｉｎｏｄａ」（集英社）発売記念握手会を行いました。
「DA PUMP」のISSAさんの家に泊まったことを認めてAKB48の活動の辞退を発表した増田有華さんについて篠田さんが語りました。その全文起こしです。

記者「卒業を選ぶ人（増田有華さん）もいるわけじゃないですか？」
篠田「私は昨日会った時に『迷惑をかけてごめんね』と言われたので。本人のことなので、全然分からないんですけど、卒業を決めちゃうのは本人の意思だったり、いろんな形であると思いますけど明るく卒業を迎えられたらなと思いました。みんな卒業するときは明るく周りも含めて楽しく前に第一歩を踏み出す形で卒業したいなと思いました。」

記者「（増田有華さんに）エールは？」
篠田「エール？それは難しいと思うんですけど、辞めたメンバー、卒業したメンバー含めて一緒に頑張った仲間なので陰ながら応援しています。」
