We are not Just a CSO but an Apex Body of Various CSOs and We Believe in Unification: COCOMI
Expressing their disappointment over the prolong destructive criticism against COCOMI, the body fears that such criticism would incite internal dissension among ourselves. At this, the body calls for careful, logical and constructive criticism with full understanding of public sentiment.
Speaking further of Youth Manipur, COCOMI said that they support the new body and their idea of oneness among the CSOs in the state. However, the apex body suggests the new body’s call for unification of all the CSOs in Imphal with a given period of time. It sounds more of a dictatorial one, and the apex body is against imposition of a limited time frame. For a complex society like Manipur, it is not an easy thing and will definitely take time.
Further, the body condemn the dry blames on the body at this critical juncture in the state owing the attacks on the Meiteis by the Chin-Kuki Narco Terorists. The body also said that it can’t further tolerate the false charges against it.
Seeking unwavering support of the people, COCOMI also added that the body will always stick to its principles and is not afraid of anybody. It will fight all the challenges with the support of the general public and win over the Chin-Kuki Narco Terrorists.
