💙💛Last week, we had the happy opportunity to meet the Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the famous Japanese artist MIYAVI.
🙌During a non-formal visit, MIYAVI learned about the activities of the “Moldova for Peace” initiative, but also visited the future Community Center for Refugee Women, Youth and Children from Ukraine in Moldova, opened in partnership with A.O. “Laolaltă”, with the support of UNHCR. MIYAVI was deeply impressed by the initiative’s work in mobilizing volunteers to provide assistance to refugees still facing the war crisis.
🤝During the discussion with MIYAVI, he mentioned that he will continue to support and talk about the help offered by those in the Republic of Moldova and will urge the international community to provide support to all those involved in managing the refugee crisis.
