大相撲の大関豪栄道が本日、 現役引退引退を発表した。 『VOGUE JAPAN』2018年10月号にも登場した豪栄道は境川部屋に入門して以来、関脇を14場所連続で務め、2014年名古屋場所後に大関に昇進。 2016年の１６年秋場所では史上初、カド番場所で15戦全勝の成績を残し、初優勝を果たした。
The Legendary Sumo Wrestler, Gōeidō will be revealed his retirement from the sport. Since his debut in 2005, he first gained recognition when he reached the Makuuchi division in 2007. He had become a Ozeki class wrestler in 2014 and won the autumn tournament in 2016. The athlete also starred in the October issue of VOGUE JAPAN 2018.
