He and Kentar\u014d It\u014d call each other their best friend. His most notable roles were Shikamaru Nara from Naruto, X in the Mega Man X series and Yosuke Hanamura from Persona 4. <\/p>\n<p>Morikubo married fellow voice actress Y\u016b Asakawa on February 22, 2007. In 2009, Asakawa announced on her blog that the two had divorced due to differences in personality, but described the split as amicable. On July 4, 2014, Morikubo posted on his blog that he had gotten married that week. He kept the identity of his wife private but stated that she is a &#8220;regular woman&#8221; who is not involved in the entertainment industry. On December 28, 2017, he announced on an episode of his radio show The BAY\u2606LINE that he had become a father to a daughter earlier in the year.
