In 2025, YOSHIKI continued to expand his presence across music, culture, and the international stage.
In March, he performed both the Japanese and United States national anthems at the MLB Opening Series held at Tokyo Dome. In April, he was selected for TIME magazine’s TIME100, becoming the first Japanese musician to receive this honor. In May, he launched a Japanese wine project in Yoichi, Hokkaido. In August, it was announced that a collaboration wine with artist Yoshitomo Nara is scheduled for release in 2026. His annual dinner show at Grand Hyatt Tokyo attracted wide attention for its fusion of music, fashion, wine, and AI.
In October, YOSHIKI appeared for the second consecutive year at Dreamforce in San Francisco, making him the first Japanese individual to do so, where he spoke about the future of AI and creativity. In November, he performed at Hegra Candlelit Classics in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, becoming the first Japanese artist to perform at the UNESCO World Heritage ancient site of Hegra.
In December, while continuing his active schedule with numerous television appearances in Japan, YOSHIKI also made a surprise appearance as a special guest at the Jonas Brothers’ U.S. tour finale in New York, further demonstrating his continued presence on the world stage.
Through these activities, 2025 became a year that marked the beginning of YOSHIKI’s next chapter. At a recent press conference, the classical concert series YOSHIKI CLASSICAL 2026 The Night Before Awakening Tokyo 3 Nights Chapter One to the World was officially announced.
