52年の歴史に幕を下ろす昼の連続ドラマ（昼ドラ）の最後の作品となる「嵐の涙～私たちに明日はある～」（東海テレビ・フジテレビ系）の会見が1月22日、東京都内のスタジオで開かれ、主演の佐藤江梨子さんらが出席。最後の昼ドラ主演となる佐藤さんは「責任重大ですね」と語る一方、「祭りだ！と思ってお受けしました」と笑顔を見せ、「まだ、あまり言えないんですが、52年間の中で出てきた方々もいっぱい出てくるので、私は“主演（仮）”みたいな感じ」と明かした。
会見には、ともに昼ドラの出演経験がある共演の宅間孝行さん、遠藤久美子さんも出席。宅間さんは「当たり前のようにあるものがなくなるのは寂しい」と語り、「最後の祭りに参加させていただきたいなと思って引き受けました。（撮影で）祭りの最中ですが、盛り上げてやっております」とコメント。遠藤さんは「寂しいなと感じる方もたくさんいると思うので、最後の昼ドラを十分に楽しんでもらえるように役を全うしたいと思います」と意気込んだ。
ドラマは夫と娘を亡くした母親が、育児放棄された血のつながらない女の子と暮らしていくというハートウオーミングストーリー。市野直親プロデューサーは「ドロドロ、ホクホク、ハラハラ、ヒリヒリ……たくさんの昼ドラ作品から得たさまざまなエッセンスが詰まった作品。新しいファンも作っていけたら」と語っていた。2月1日から毎週月～金午後1時25分に放送。

A press conference on the drama “Tears Of The Storm: There Is A Tomorrow For Us” (Tokai TV, Fuji TV channel) – the last work of the daytime serial drama (Hirudora) which lowers the curtain of the 52-year history, was held at a studio in Tokyo on January 22nd, with the attendance of main actress Eriko Sato.
Sato, who will be the last main actress of Hirudora, said: “My responsibility is very heavy” while also adding with a smiling face: “I accepted to participate with the thought that it will be like a festival” and expressing: “I cannot talk much but entertainers who have appeared over the past 52 years will appear intensively, so I feel like I am just a “(temporary) main actress””.
