Sayuri Yahagi (矢作 紗友里, Yahagi Sayuri, born September 22, 1986) is a Japanese voice actress. She became the narrator of Animax in October 2007. Yahagi was born in Tokyo and had lived in Hachinohe, Aomori for a long time. She thought “Anime is a picture talking” and said that she had no idea about voice acting until her friend talked to the voice actor. She first wanted to become a voice actor during junior high school in the wake of a friend telling her that she “sounds like anime”. On January 31, 2015, the official site of her office announced that she was now married to a man outside of the industry.
