劇場版アニメ「宇宙戦艦ヤマト2199 星巡る方舟」（出渕裕監督）の初日舞台あいさつが12月6日、東京都内であり、声優の桑島法子さん、内田彩さん、中村繪里子さんが登場した。
桐生美影役の中村さんは「一つの結末をお届けできたのは喜び。いろいろな形で、ヤマトが新しい展開を見せることは不可能ではないということを実証できたんだと思う」と話し、岬百合亜役の内田さんも「熱い展開もありつつ愛も描かれている作品。作中のストーリーで、若い世代への継承があったように、ヤマトという作品もオリジナルから2199へ受け継がれていって、どんどんいろいろな人が作品を受け継いで、語り継いで、大きな作品になればと思う」と語った。
映画は、テレビシリーズ第1作の放送から今年で40年を迎えることを記念した「40周年プロジェクト」の一環で制作された完全新作の劇場版アニメ。惑星「イスカンダル」への旅路を新たな視点で振り返った「宇宙戦艦ヤマト2199 追憶の航海」に続く物語で、西暦2199年の隠されていたストーリーが明かされる。

The stage-greetings event on the first screening day of the animated movie version “Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Star-Voyaging Ark” (directed by Yutaka Izubuchi) was held in Tokyo on December 6th with the attendance of the voice cast, Hoko Kuwashima, Aya Uchida and Eriko Nakamura.
Nakamura who plays Mikage Kiryu said, “It is an ending that brings joy. I think in many ways Yamato has exhibited a lot of development and proved that it is not impossible”. Uchida who plays Yuria Misaki also said, “This is a work that has both hot development and love. The story depicts the transfer to the young generation, I hope the work Yamato will continue to be carried on from the original work until version 2199. Gradually there will be a lot of successors and the work is passed down through many people and becomes a big one”.
