http://www.FTV.com/videos NEW YORK – Once again, Zac Posen overwhelmed us with gorgeous and glamorous gowns at New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012/2013. But he also catered to the ladies that lunch in this first half of his collection, which featured business suit attire that would fit a socialite looking for a more mature aesthetic. Nevertheless, nothing could take our eyes away from the jaw-dropping mermaid dresses, but it was also the meticulous hair and Oriental motifs that did it for us this time. Luigi Murenu lead the hairstylists to create a “pink Geisha” look and Kabuki for MAC was on hand for makeup. The looks also had a few Japanese-inspired theme from obi belts to Eastern and kimono prints, reds of Tokyo, and sleeves that said Japanese. Of course, the winner of the night (and perhaps all of Fashion Week) is the blue silk faille gown worn by Coco Rocha at the end of the runway. Rocha told Fashionista.com later that Zac said it was the biggest thing he’d ever done. And it certainly had the biggest effect of the night!
