http://www.FashionTV.com/videos NEW YORK – Carlos Miele said his Spring 2013 collection was inspired by a trip to the zoo, but called the entire line at New York Fashion Week a “hallucination jungle.” Indeed it was, as the animal prints and zebra prints were there, with a violent upstart in loud and bright colors like neon yellow, electric blue, and even the black dresses were drenched in sequins and beading. The collection bordered between long and flowing caftans in bold colors or outfits that were heavily pieced together with turquoise stones and beads. When the collection got calmer, with a set of wearable pieces and flowing gowns, things got a whole better. As for the overexaggerated–who knows, maybe Paula Abdul, who was sitting in the audience, would like that sort of thing?
