This is the live show exclusively streamed for the members of DREAMS COME TRUE official fan club, POWER PLANT on March 21, 2021, to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of DREAMS COME TRUE’s debut.
As same as the last time, the setlist was decided by the “real-time requests at the live show” method. The twenty songs pre-selected for the show were divided into four groups. The fan club members who were watching the streaming voted online for a song in each group they want to hear live. DCT performed the songs from the top of the most requested within the assigned time for each group.
It was super special streaming live in which even DREAMS COME TRUE could not predict which songs they would be playing.
[ DREAMS COME TRUE Biography ]
DREAMS COME TRUE are Masato Nakamura, the bassist, composer, arranger, and Miwa Yoshida, the vocalist, composer, performer. The two have been continuously creating the music of the time. Since they celebrated the 30th anniversary of their debut in 2019, they have been even more energetic and flexible in search of a new form of music and sound. The single “YES AND NO / G” released in 2020 made us anticipate the emergence of new DREAMS COME TRUE. In the latest album “DOSCO prime” released in Oct. 2020, they deconstructed and reconstructed their original songs successfully. Then, the 3D avatar of DREAMS COME TRUE, “MASADO & MIWASCO” made the debut at “VTuber Festival Japan 2021”. Expectations are high in both the real world and the virtual world.
Also, Masato Nakamura is known for composing and arranging the historical mega-hit game “Sonic The Hedgehog 1&2”. One of the soundtracks “Emerald Hill Zone” is used in the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster movie “Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022)”, which is scheduled to be released next year.

2021年3月21日、ドリカムのデビュー32周年記念日に、DREAMS COME TRUEオフィシャルファンクラブPOWER PLANT会員限定で配信されたライヴ。
前回同様セットリストは「生リクエスト＆生演奏」方式で決定。用意された20曲を4つのグループに分け、それぞれ割り当てられた時間の中でどの曲が聴きたいか、視聴しているファンクラブ会員がリアルタイムに投票し、上位から時間が許す限り演奏していく。
どの曲が演奏されるのか、ドリカム本人も予想ができない超レアな配信ライヴとなった。
[DREAMS COME TRUEプロフィール]
ベーシストでありコンポーザー、アレンジャーの中村正人と、ヴォーカリストでありコンポーザー、パフォーマーである吉田美和の二人からなるDREAMS COME TRUEは、二人であることを核に、楽曲のクリエイトにおいては時代に合わせた形を柔軟に模索してきた。特に、デビュー30周年を迎えた2019年以降、それはより新しい形となって現れている。
2020年にリリースされたシングル『YES AND NO／G』では、〝新たなドリカム 〟を予感させる斬新なサウンドメイクに着手し、最新アルバム『DOSCO prime』では、自らの曲を解体し再構築するというコンヴァージョン的手法を取り入れている。
そして、ヴァーチャルドリカムとして3Dアヴァター「MASADO & MIWASCO」が「VTuber Fes Japan 2021」でデビュー。
リアル世界でもヴァーチャル世界でも今後の活躍に期待がかかる。
また中村正人は、歴史的メガヒットとなったゲーム「ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ1&2」の作曲／編曲を担当。
その中の1曲『Emerald Hill Zone』が来年公開予定のハリウッド大作「Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022) – Title Announcement – Paramount Pictures」で起用され話題となっている。
