The 2025 DVF Awards in Venice, Italy. This year’s honorees join a family of more than 75 extraordinary women we have celebrated over the years, and they all share the same mission: to find solutions to the world’s most urgent problems with strength, courage and leadership. This year’s ceremony was supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies and held at the Teatro Goldoni.

This years honorees include, Sudanese Activist & Emergency Response Room Leader, Hanin Ahmed; Founder and President of Every Mother Counts, Christy Turlington Burns; General Coordinator of COICA and defender of Indigenous and environmental rights, Fany Kuiru Castro; entrepreneur and philanthropist, Kim Kardashian; and President of Una Nessuna Centomila and Activist, Giulia Minoli.

Diane von Furstenberg and The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation founded The DVF Awards in 2010 to recognize, support and amplify the voices of extraordinary women who are dedicated to improving the lives of other women. These are women who have demonstrated the courage to fight, the strength to survive and the leadership to inspire.

Each honoree receives a grant for their non-profit organization to further their important work.
