Reflex (otherwise known as Jumper 2) is an upcoming film adaptation of the novel Reflex. It will be the second and final Jumper directed by Matthew Vaughn, after Doug Liman stated that he would not return after directing Jumper. It is scheduled to be released on February 12, 2027.

Liman has expressed interest in making a second film based on Reflex, the second novel in the series, noting that the possibility for the film depended on the success of Jumper. In December 2016 that Liman had plans for a second film as well as the television spin-off series Impulse. In August 2023, [Doug] Liman said the second film would serve as the conclusion of a duology. He began developing a script in 2023. In April 2024, Liman said the script was “almost finished” but he did not want to rush it, citing Hollywood’s tendency of focusing on release dates over a film’s overall quality; “I want to make sure that if we go back there a second time I want it to be good and I want it to be even better than Jumper”. During production for Jumper, Hayden Christensen and Doug Liman stated that they would not return for a second installment of the franchise.
Ahead of Jumper’s release, Zimmer revealed he was already writing music for a second film after Liman came in and “wordlessly” put a copy of Dune Messiah on his desk. In June 2024, it was reported that [Doug] Liman and [Matthew] Vaughn had officially begun development on the second film. Liman has said that Reflex would be his final Jumper film, and said in November 2024, “It would be a good idea for me to make sure that, in Reflex, there are the seeds in the project if someone wants to do something else afterwards, because they are beautiful books.
Filming on the sequel is expected to begin in summer 2025 with a scheduled release on February 12, 2027.
