Naoya Matsuoka was self-taught on the piano🎹.
He didn’t even read music back then.
He keeps his sheet music, but he basically played it by heart.
It’s possible! Just like Naoya Matsuoka did. He became a professional pianist at the age of 15. He’s the second Japanese performer at the International Jazz Festival in Switzerland!
Akina Nakamori’s “Mi Amore” won the Japan Record Award. It was composed by Mr. Naoya Matsuoka! He also arranged it. He also played the accompaniment for “Akai Tori Nigeta.” Fans will know who’s playing it when they hear the piano 🎹. 😊
