According to Uproxx, Cohan has also landed a lead role on the ABC action-drama Whiskey Cavalier. When asked in an interview with the Associated Press if she was leaving The Walking Dead strictly to take on this new role, Cohan explained that she’s exiting The Walking Dead because she felt too “comfortable” playing Maggie, saying “Eight years is a really long time to be in those emotional depths.”
