Daisy Ridley had her acting breakthrough when she starred as Rey in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” in 2015, also portraying that role in two sequels.
Also starring in “Murder on the Orient Express,” “Sometimes I Think About Dying,” “The Marsh King’s Daughter” and “Young Woman and the Sea,” Ridley’s next role is in a British action thriller from director Martin Campbell, who directed James Bond films “GoldenEye” and “Casino Royale.”
In “Cleaner,” an ex-soldier (Ridley) is cleaning windows 90 stories high when she witnesses a group of terrorists take over a company’s gala and seize 300 hostages to expose the corruption of the hosts.
“Cleaner” opens in theaters Feb. 21, 2025.
