Netflix has announced the release date for The Old Guard 2, the next movie in the action-packed fantasy series. The first sneak peek behind the scenes was also shared, showing that Charlize Theron will return as Andy, also known as Andromache of Scythia.

The Old Guard 2 will be available on Netflix starting July 2, 2025. Along with Charlize Theron, the movie will bring back KiKi Layne as Nile, Matthias Schoenaerts as Booker, Marwan Kenzari as Joe, Luca Marinelli as Nicky, Veronica Ngo as Quynh, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Copley. There will also be new faces, including Uma Thurman and Henry Golding.

In this movie, Andy and her team of warriors, who can never die, must protect the world from a dangerous new enemy. Fans will remember that the first Old Guard movie ended with a big mystery. After Booker betrayed the team, he was sent away for 100 years, only to find Quynh, a lost warrior, waiting for him. What does she want? One thing is for sure — this movie will have even more action and take you to new places!

The movie is directed by Victoria Mahoney, and the script is written by Greg Rucka and Sarah L. Walker. It is based on Rucka and artist Leandro Fernandez’s comic book. The producers include Gina Prince-Bythewood, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Charlize Theron, Beth Kono, and A.J. Dix. #TheOldGuard2 #Netflix #CharlizeTheron #ActionMovie #FantasyFilm #ImmortalWarriors #TheOldGuard #MovieSequel #July2025 #UmaThurman #HenryGolding #KiKiLayne #ChiwetelEjiofor #GregRucka #ComicBookMovie #ActionSequel #MovieRelease #BehindTheScenes #NewMovie #ActionAdventure #SuperheroMovies
