AKBINGO! was AKB48’s weekly variety show, and the longest running of its kind. It was originally named AKB 1ji 59fun!, then AKB 0ji 59fun! when its time slot was moved up an hour, until finally arriving at AKBINGO!
AKBINGO! featured AKB48 members and sometimes sister group members participating in a variety of talks, games, and activities. Games often had a twist or comedic punishment for losing, leading to amusing situations.
