お笑いコンビ「笑撃戦隊」の野村辰二さんが1月15日、東京都内で行われた芸能事務所「ワタナベエンターテインメント」のお笑い大会「AmebaFRESH！ Presents ワタナベお笑いNo．1決定戦」の「決勝戦組み合わせ抽選会」に登場。同大会の優勝賞金が100万円ということもあり、お笑いタレントのやしろ優さんと交際中の野村さんは、賞金の使い道を聞かれ、「100万円とったら、しっかりプロポーズしたい」と優勝後の求婚を宣言した。
「AmebaFRESH！ Presents ワタナベお笑いNo．1決定戦」は、ワタナベエンターテインメントの中で一番面白い芸人を決める大会で、「笑撃戦隊」のほか「ロッチ」や「我が家」「クマムシ」、あばれる君、厚切りジェイソンさんら芸人16組が決勝に進出。この日は、同大会決勝の組み合わせ抽選会が行われ、その模様はサイバーエージェントの動画サービス「AmebaFRESH！」で生配信された。
AmebaFRESH！ Presents ワタナベお笑いNo．1決定戦は2月4日に行われる。

The grand prix of this contest is JPY 1000000. When being asked about the use of the prize money, Nomura who is dating with comedian Yu Yashiro, declared to make proposal after wining: “If I win JPY 1000000, I will make a solemn proposal””.”
