Continuing my 19th anniversary MVs, this 2nd song is called “Starry-Go-Round” which was performed originally by Yuki “Yukki” Himekawa, Yui Ohtsuki, Miku “Miku-nyan/Nekomimi” Maekawa, Anastasia “Anya”, and Asuka “AsuAsu” Ninomiya. This grand version of the song has 2 producer chosen backup idols riding on the ride. I’m keeping all 5 since I have the SSR outfits for all 5 idols. For my 2 idols riding the starry-go-round, I chose my favorite Cinderella Project Cinderella Anzu Futaba and my favorite Project U149 that is also part of the Cinderella Project Miria “Milly” Akagi which both idols form the duo unit I made up “$wish”. The lyrics of the song talk about the Cinderella idols taking the audience for a ride at the merry-go-round around the starlight stage at the amusement park. The song’s title derives from the word “starry” and the “merry-go-round” ridden at Amusement Parks & Carnivals, meaning that we’re riding the merry-go-round around the Cinderella Starlight Stage having the thrills seeing all the Cinderella girls dancing on stage while riding on horses and in pumpkin+wooden carriages. I chose this song because we get to have all the thrill and fun at the amusement park riding the cinderella starry-go-round at the dawn of the 19th anniversary until the 20th anniversary. Both idols riding the ride have the maid and aristocrat theme as Milly is Anzu’s maid, symbolizing my favorite main and spin-off idol of the Cinderella Girls anime.
